    Great website, Just got hold of andere gs 650 gl ‘ 81 wit has 32 K. Miles on the clockl It was imported from the USA in 1992 to the Netherlands where I live.
    I am sure that in the coming weeks and months, I will get back to you for advise and mental support as I want to on the same name restoration journey as you went.

  2. I just got a used 2017 Multistrada Touring S and your blog has been great to follow! I’m also trying to find a solution to the wind buffeting with the regular screen and it’s great to see what has worked for you.

  3. G’day Dave. Really enjoy reading your posts about modifications to the SFV650. I too have a 2013 model and have gradually been modifying for comfort and appearance. Like you, I have added an R&G tail tidy and the same Givi windscreen. I’ve also replaced the seat with a custom Corbin seat which makes travelling more than an hour possible.
    I have just received the Renthal ultra low handlebars and your instructions give me the confidence to attempt to swap the original bars with these. I found that the original bars cause my hands to cramp and I’m hoping that the Renthal bars will sort this out as they will be a tad lower and should keep my wrists and hands in a level position.
    I’ll send or post some photos when I work out how to.
